Michael Dühr – Songwriter | Composer | Musicproducer in Berlin
Michael composes, produces and arranges music in a wide range of fields, styles and formats. He writes compositions for rock, pop and electronic music as well as for games, film, television and advertising music. As a musician (vocals, bass, guitar), he was involved in various projects and bands.
With his former band Venus Hype Machine he was awarded the Rockförderpreis Trier in 1997, the Rockbuster WinnerRhineland-Palatinate in 1998 and the Rosebud Red – Songs Of Goethe And NietzscheVW (Volkswagen) Soundfoundation Newcomer in Weimar in 1999.
From 2007 to 2012 he worked for the music software company Ableton AG.
As product specialist, he worked as 2nd level tech supporter (worldwide), in the knowledgebase creation & editorial team, as QA engineer & usability tester for hardware (PUSH) / software (Ableton Live), as project manager for 3rd party Plug-In compatibility improvements in Ableton Live and took over the communication with 3rd party companies worldwide.
From 2012 to 2014 he worked as Maschine 2 / iMaschine QA Engineer Soft- and Hardware | Product Development for NATIVE INSTRUMENTS GmbH.
From 2017 to 2019 he was QA Engineer | Project Manager @ Mike Daliot & Max Zagler GmbH, with the software engineers Niklas Klügel and Tobias Ludwig. Mike Daliot & Max Zagler GmbH designed and developed Massive X for NATIVE INSTRUMENTS GmbH.
From 2021 to the end of 2021 he was Product Owner for the SOUND FORGE Family @ MAGIX Software GmbH and created the feature set and roadmap for the products SOUND FORGE 16 Audio Studio, Pro and Suite, Pro and Suite365, which were successfully released in the first quarter of 2022.
